Discovery Day Program

Introduction:

In the Discovery Day Program, participants are supported to engage in a person-centered planning process with a focus on the three main program focuses: Employment & Volunteering Skills, Practical & Applied Skills, and Recreation & Fitness. The program schedule runs Monday to Friday with morning and afternoon blocks each day.

Discovery participants are often very independent; many study, work, volunteer and participate in recreational sports leagues in the community. As such, participants choose appropriate programming blocks to fit their schedules and support their personal goals. The program also offers a social/recreational evening once per month.
